WasteMINZ

WasteMINZ is the largest representative body of the waste, resource recovery and contaminated land management sectors in New Zealand. It is a membership-based organisation with over 1,500 members – from small operators through to councils and large companies.

WasteMINZ has done a substantial amount of work in the food waste space in New Zealand. In 2013, they launched a national food waste provention program, the most significant output of which was the Love Food Hate Waste campaign. They have conducted research in the household, hospitality, and retail food waste spaces.
