One News reports on food waste
One News ran a story over the weekend detailing the issue of food waste. The story featured the theme’s Industry Representative and Foodstuffs NZ’s Waste Minimisation Manager Francesca Goodman-Smith. It addressed both food waste in the retail sector as well as household food waste, and highlighted food rescue organisations KiwiHarvest and Kaibosh, acknowledging the role they are playing in reducing waste and the rapid expansion this sector has gone through since COVID19.
