Food Waste Innovation’s student symposium 2022

Food Waste Innovation Postgraduate and Summer students and Steering Committee

On the 9th of March we held a short symposium via zoom where 11 postgraduate and summer students who are or have been conducting research projects related to food waste presented on their research projects. The symposium followed the conclusion of weekly ‘Project Cafe’s’ hosted by Food Waste Innovation for students over the summer. These weekly sessions gave students, who are based all over campus, a chance to connect with each other and share challenges and successes of their research over their morning coffee.

The symposium was a great chance to celebrate all the student research taking place around campus in this space, as well as to showcase the diversity of research within the theme and inspire others in the food waste space.

You can view recordings of these presentations in our Resource Centre
