Overview:

This paper presents a Social Return on Investment (SROI) approach to measure the social value of three food rescue organisations in Aotearoa New Zealand. Demonstrating that every $1 invested into these organisations creates $4.5 of social value in return. This project was commissioned by the Aotearoa Food Rescue Alliance and conducted by PhD student Grace Clare and associated investigators Dr Gradon Diprose (Manaaki Whenua - Landcare and Research) and Dr Louise Lee (Independent Researcher).
