Overview:

This report and podcast are an output from Maddie Crang’s Science Communication master’s internship. The aim of the internship is to provide students the opportunity to exercise their science communication skills in real-life scenarios and workplaces. Maddie’s internship focused on Food Waste Innovation to give a ‘behind-the-scenes’ look into how science research and outreach happens. The project was aimed at those who would be interested in the topic of food waste but would otherwise not have the opportunity to learn about it. The podcast was a result of Maddie wanting to share the great tips she learned during her interviews.
